3 March 2012	Vouvant Cafe Cour du Miracle	Our next quiz will not be until the first weekend in March - Saturday 3rd March. The meal this time will be Lasagne with garlic bread and the evening will start at 7.30pm. As usual, tables of four can be booked with Paul behind the bar. Tickets will be 10 Euros each (including the quiz and meal) and your table booking can be secured by a 10Euro deposit.

16 Mar 2012	Triaize nr. Lucon.	ST.PATRICK’S EVENT - On Friday 16th March (one day before St.Patrick’s day) - at L’Ami Temps Restaurant at Triaize nr. Lucon. Great music from ‘A-VEE & ANDY EM’ apx 8.30pm to Midnight. This promises to be a really entertaining evening with full Irish theme.
6 April 2012	Fenioux	Friday 6th April (GOOD FRIDAY) - Music at the Des Belle Fleur, Fenioux with ‘A-VEE & ANDY EM’ playing hits from the 70,s including numbers by Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, Pink Floyd, Steppenwolf, Santana, Rolling Stones, Roxy Music, Van Halen, AC-DC ETC., PLUS Rock & Roll from the swinging sixties. Everybody welcome Alan and Andy start playing at around 20.30 hrs.
13 Apr 2012	Verteuil-Sur-Charante	Friday 13th April - ‘’A-VEE & ANDY EM’’ are playing at the top spot for the very best in music and that,s at the ‘’Dixieland Cafe’’ at Verteuil-Sur-Charante. Restaurant meals are very popular and the venue always attracts large crowds of people. Music starts at 21.00 hrs through until Midnight. It’s a great atmosphere at the ‘’Dixieland’’ and well worth a visit.

1 May 2012	Le Beugnon	Fetes des Plantes, Le Beugnon,1st May 2012 In collaboration with les Jardins du Paradis this lively village in the Gatine will be holding a Fete des Plantes on the 1st of May. We would like to invite keen gardeners and nature lovers to come and join us in the celebration of Le jardin des Sources, with the theme of water in the garden.There will be more than 40 exhibitors keen to pass on their advice and tricks of the trade.There will also be workshops, guided walks and talks on a variety of subjects from gardening to the local wildlife.Many of these conducted in both English and French. Food and drink will be available throughout the day with both English and French cuisine. The show starts at 9.30 until 18.00 entry and parking is free and a timetable of events programmed throughout the day will be available on entry. 5 May 2012		No Panic France will be doing it's charity walk for the third year on Saturday 5th May. It is a 10km walk that took most people about 2 hours last year. We finished the walk with a wonderful long lunch and raffle and in the end raised well over 700 euros! ‘No Panic’ is an International Charity, which helps people who suffer from Panic Attacks, Phobias and Obsessive/Compulsive Disorders. Would you or anybody you know like to join us and help raise money? Maybe 10kms is a bit much? Not a problem, You are welcome to join us for lunch from midday. RSVP before the 20th April.
